Scoilnet Account Settings
If you registered to use any of the Scoilnet applications or services, eg. Scoilnet Maps, Web Hosting, Blogs, you will have been issued with a username and password. Your username comprises your first initial, your surname and then four digits. This username uniquely identifies each Scoilnet user. If there are 4 Mary Murphys registered, there will be no conflict as each will have a different set of numbers following the 'mmurphy' part of their username.
Note: Usernames cannot be changed.
Account Settings allows you to change your password, reset a lost password and update your email address as well as change settings associated with specific Scoilnet Services e.g. Web Hosting.
Basics
To login, go to the Scoilnet Account Settings and login.
The My Account Tab will be selected which will show you the details held for your account and allow you to change your email address and/or password.

Reset a Lost Password
If you have forgotten your password go to the Scoilnet Account Settings and click on Forgotten your password?
Enter the email address used when registering for the service and your password will be reset and emailed to you. If you have forgotten the email address that was used when registering or no longer have access to this email account please contact the NCTE Service Desk.
Web Hosting Account Settings
To access the Web Hosting Account Settings, you must have Webmaster access to your school's Scoilnet website.
